This building was fabricated and factory assembled in within 12 weeks. The site prep work was also completed simultaneously during these 12 weeks. This dual construction path substantially reduces total project time, one advantage of modular construction.
Madison crews were on site only ten days setting modules, completing cross-over connections and other finish trades on this forty module building. Smaller projects can be completed within a single day.
Upon setting the modules, the final flooring is applied, cross-over connections are made and within 10 days, the facility is ready to use.
Operating Rooms and multi purpose intervention rooms are designed to have no cracks or areas where infection could lodge. Most equipment is suspended from the ceiling, along with power and gas. Floors are monolithic epoxy with integrated covers.

Steel sub-floor is laid over structural steel framing with plumbing and electrical rough-ins in place before the concrete floor is poured.
Concrete trucks back into the shop and pour a 3½” concrete floor system throughout the building. This allows for any variety of finished flooring products to be installed.

Detailed inspections are carried out on each module throughout the building process. Most states have a commercial modular certification process, allowing structural and mechanical permiting, and inspections by local jurisdictions all in our facility.
All the flooring and equipment is installed in the building including: refrigerators, toilets, sinks, counters, and shelving, etc.
Walls, Ceilings, and other finish trades are performed before modules are shipped to the jobsite.
